Shirika la Reli Tanzania, ni shirika lililoundwa chini ya Sheria ya Reli Namba 10 ya mwaka 2017 kwa lengo kuu la kutoa huduma ya usafiri bora na uhakika wa reli, Kusimamia, kuendeleza na kuhakikisha ulinzi na usalama wa miundombinu ya reli nchini Tanzania.

Shirika limekuwa likiongeza miundombinu mingi ikiwa ni pamoja na kuongeza vituo vya Treni ya umeme linahitaji wataalamu wengi kwa ajili ya kusimamia shughuli mbalimbali za ujenzi wa miundombinu ya reli.

Job Description

Post: CIVIL TECHNICIAN - 4 POST

Employer: Tanzania Railway Corporation (TRC)

Application timeline: 22-06-2024 to 05-07-2024

Duties and Responsibilities: 

i. To undertake maintenance of bridges, culverts, building and track works; ii. To read and review project drawings and plans to determine the sizes of structures; iii. To prepare track maintenance plans and submit the same to Supervisor; iv. To take part in testing construction materials and soil samples in laboratories; v. To ensure that project construction conforms to design specifications and applicable permanent way requirements; and vi To perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

Holder of Full Technician Certificate (FTC) Or Ordinary Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology, Track Technology, Bridge Construction or Equivalent from Recognized Institution.
