The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) is one of the high learning institutions in Tanzania. It is fully accredited by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) to offer technician and engineering programmes leading to the awards of Ordinary Diploma(OD) in engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) respectively and Master of Engineering(MEng).
Qualification:
Holder of Bachelor Degree (NTA Level 8) or its equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering with GPA of 3.8 and above.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To teach up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
- To assist in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervisions
- To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
- To assist in conducting research under close supervision
- To carry out consultancy and community services under close supervision and
- To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
